How We Helped Rich Carlson by Balancing Personal and Professional Priorities

“They’ve been good. He does a good job of keeping me on task and is a good accountability partner. He’s tenacious about weekly meetings — he makes sure we either meet or at the very least have a phone interview.
He very professional. If we talked about implementing something, he will ask my why I haven’t done it yet. But he’s very gentle in his approach, and will let you know what you need to do to help yourself.
He asks what more he can do and is flexible with his meeting time. I think that’s the biggest thing: he tries to be accommodating with his work schedule. I know he’s a busy guy, so it’s nice to see that.
A big thing that sticks out in my mind is his concern for my family. Ultimately, with me, it’s not about making more money or growing my company bigger, it’s about finding balance in my life and spending more time with my family. He’s got a hand on the pulse of what my goals and values are. He’s always driving me to do things for my company that will help me with my family and personal goals. That to me has been wonderful. He’s always pushing me to get closer with my family, and you don’t see that too often. Nowadays, it’s all about going faster, building bigger, making more money, but Rick doesn’t push in that direction. It’s very positive in that regard.”
