How Marketing Can Attract Your Ideal Clients

Today, we’ll talk about attracting your ideal clients through marketing. I’ve been studying marketing for a while now. In fact, this video is a part of my marketing. I want to encourage you to study marketing and thought leaders all over the world – most of them have published fantastic books!
There’s a simple format I study, which helps you achieve the results you want. To give you an idea, it involves more clients, and more time for fun in your business. Follow these six simple steps to help your marketing plans and campaigns:

  1. Keep it simple. Keep conversations with people. Write blog posts. Put out marketing pieces.
  2. Be consistent. Your marketing approach shouldn’t be only timestamped, but concerned for your clients in a timely fashion. For instance, I send out a blog update every two weeks. I want to educate you and do the best I can consistently.
  3. Keep it brief. Keep your marketing messages brief during this process. People don’t have time to study it.
  4. Give a lot of quality. I started as a coach to join a team I deeply admired to work for you and our community. I want to help you acknowledge all the resources out there. I aspire to provide you with high quality content.
  5. Be targeted with your audience. There’s a reason I sent you this video! There’s a reason you market to the people you do. Having a specific, targeted audience helps you to generate more business.
  6. Be habitual with your marketing. Make marketing a habit. Be yourself in your marketing. I grew up in sports, and I acknowledge my own competitive edge. I value everyone, but this is my authentic self. I want to help you achieve the results you want. I maintain an authentic self when marketing to you.

Additionally, marketing gurus often follow four things to make marketing pieces. These steps will also help you market to ideal clients in the Michigan area:

  1. Challenge people and their potential. It’s essentially my business with you! I believe you have awesomeness and true potential inside of you. When you reach into your potential, your results will be amazing.
  2. Entertain. It’s been said that I entertain with wittiness and fun. I tell a lot of stories based on my personal experiences.
  3. Educate. Ask yourself what knowledge you can pass onto someone else. I love John Maxwell’s quote: “Be a river, not a reservoir.” A river keeps flowing, and never holds the water inside of a contained body. Wind can blow across a reservoir, but the water skims the shore and never shares itself. I like to educate with these resources I have.
  4. Inspire. I want you to be the best you can be! I want you to reach your greatest potential. I know that transformation takes work.
