How Can Discipline and Commitment Get You the Results You Want?


 
Stop quitting! It’s amazing how often I have to say that to clients I’m coaching and people I come across every single day.
If you’re not getting the results you want, it’s probably because you’re quitting too much. It’s true, most people quit on something they think is a good idea. For example, just about every person I talk to tells me how they would like to be fit and lose weight. They often start working out and feeling better before quitting; then, later, they start back up again. It’s a start-stop-start again mentality that keeps them from accomplishing their goals.

It’s the same for business. Many people I talk to tell me their business is just so-so and they’re thinking about stopping a certain marketing strategy they’ve been using. They could be just inches away from achieving their goal through that marketing technique, but they sabotage their own success by quitting too soon! If you want to accomplish your goals, you need to commit to things, engage in relationship building, and do each and everything with consistency and discipline.
Stop and think about the results you want and why you want them. Then, figure out what it’s going to take to achieve those results. Make a commitment and stay consistent!
