Will You Have Regrets?

Imagine reaching the age of 80 years old.  How will you look?  How will you feel?  What will be your fondest memories?  What will you consider your biggest challenges that you went through in life?  Are those memories and challenges the same as you consider them to be today?  Or is it possible that your greatest days are still ahead of you?
I hope you consider your greatest days and challenges lie ahead of you.  If you do, that means you will look forward in anticipation.  You will look forward with thoughts and aspirations of a better life than the one you live today.  You will face your fears, you will stumble and fall, and you will get up and keep thriving and moving forward as your reach for your dreams.
As Les Brown once said, “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it you will land among the stars.”
My hope for you is that you will grow old as a healthy and strong person.  My hope for you is that you will not look back on your life when you are 80 years old and think, “I wish I would have done this…” or “I wish I would have done that…!”
Don’t be that person.  Instead, I challenge you to be that person that can reflect back on your life and recite the following saying, “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “WOOHOO! What a Ride!” ~Hunter S. Thompson
Now let me introduce myself.  My name is Rich Lohman.  I am 38 years old and I have, God willing, 42 years to continue stretching, reaching, and growing to live my life to the fullest.  When I reach 80 years of age I will look back with no regrets.
Please place your name and age in the following statement and read it aloud.  Read it every day.  Read it with passion.  Take massive action and make these words count.
My name is ______________.  I am _____ years old and, God willing, I have _____ years to go to reach 80 years of age.  I will start/continue stretching, reaching, and growing, facing all of my fears and living my life to the fullest.  When I reach 80 years of age I will look back with amazing and fond memories and realize I have lived my life with no regrets.
Make it happen.  Live the WOOHOOing™ lifestyle!
